Own your ticketing instead of renting it

Ticketing platforms take a percentage of every seat you sell, forever. This is the same system, built once and handed to you.

What you get
  • A public site for your events

Event pages, images, descriptions and multi-tier pricing, all editable by you.

  • Direct Stripe checkout

Payments settle in your own Stripe account. No intermediary holding your money.

  • PDF tickets with QR codes

Branded, generated automatically, emailed to the buyer on purchase.

  • Door check-in

Staff scan tickets from a phone browser. Green for valid, red for already used. No app to install.

  • A self-serve admin panel

Create events, set ticket waves, upload posters, watch sales. No database, no developer.

  • Sales analytics

Traffic, funnel and revenue in one dashboard, alongside your real Stripe fees and payouts.

  • Promo codes

Optional discount codes managed from the admin panel.

  • Your brand, not mine

Your logo, typography and colours throughout the site, tickets and emails.

What it looks like

  • Mesaa public event page showing the menu, collaborators and seat selection

    The public event page

How it works
01

Assessment

A call to check the numbers. If a platform is cheaper for your volume, I will tell you so.

02

Fork and brand

Your deployment of a proven engine, with your design, your Stripe account, your database. About two weeks.

03

Handover

You own the accounts, the domain and the data. Documentation included. No lock-in to me.

Built twice already

The payment engine has been running live since April 2026. Each new deployment reuses it — which is why the second build took two weeks instead of five.

When this makes sense

This is worth it when you are paying — or about to start paying — a percentage of revenue rather than a flat fee, when you sell enough seats for that percentage to be real money, and when what you need is ticketing rather than something genuinely novel. If your volume is low and your needs are unusual, a platform is cheaper than a build. I will say so on the call.

What it costs

3% per ticket sold.

That covers running the system, support and security updates. Setup starts at €900 depending on how much design and migration your events need, plus a monthly platform plan. Card processing is Stripe's own fee and goes to Stripe, not to me. For comparison, organiser commissions in the Czech market commonly sit around 8%, with a further fee added to what your buyer pays — and the group that now owns most of that market has said publicly that the older, lower commissions weren't sustainable.

No revenue share beyond the 3%, and no lock-in: the Stripe account, the domain, the database and the customer data are yours from day one.

What ticketing actually costs you

Compare total fees taken out of each ticket — organiser cut plus buyer fee — across your own site, Eventbrite, GoOut and Resident Advisor.

Fee assumptions — edit to match current quotes

Eventbrite defaults are the published UK rate (6.95% + £0.59). GoOut figures are what has been reported publicly for the Czech market, not a quoted tariff — PLG does not publish its rates. RA’s ~13% is from their own fees-page example.

On your own site the sale happens on your domain and settles into your Stripe account. The 3% is the only platform fee; Stripe's processing is on your side by design.
